| Terms and Conditions |
For applications for tickets to be successful all teachers/chaperones and students will need to agree to the following:
- A BBC Permission form for each student attending must be completed by legal guardian/student (as applicable) and returned to the Institute for Citizenship no later than 1st July 2008. (This is essential so that the Events can be filmed.)
- Teachers will need to provide evidence of permission (on school headed paper) from Head Teacher/Governors (as applicable) for students from that school to attend the event.
- Teachers accompanying groups will take full responsibility for their students at all times travelling to, during and travelling from the event.
- Any student misbehaving or putting other people at risk will be asked to leave the event.
Teachers will be held responsible for the behaviour and safety of their students.
- All students will be security searched when entering the building. Any suspect items will be confiscated.
- For health, safety and security reasons NO BAGS will be allowed on the premises.There will NOT be any cloakroom facilities for coats/bags etc.
- All students attending should be between the ages of 16-19 years old and in full time education.
- All students attending need to complete a Young Citizens' Say! Survey before attending the event. These will form the basis for the Young Citizens' Action Agenda for Prime Minister and Mayor of London in October.
- The Institute for Citizenship and partner organisations reserve the right to change/amend the content and/or Terms and Conditions of the event.
